About This Song
About "Another Coke" by Alternative TV
A fizzy, corrosive snapshot of consumer trance, 'Another Coke' bubbles with post-punk irony. Alternative TV turn a mundane craving into a mantra of empty repetition, the music's mechanical pulse mirroring the hollow high of artificial sweetness. Tension lies in the seduction and the disgust.
