About This Song
About "Kansas City No. 1, 2 and 3" by Willie Dixon
A three-part travelogue through Kansas City's mythic nightlife, Dixon's medley unfolds like a series of postcards from the road. Each section shifts tempo and mood—now strutting, now wistful—while the band anchors the journey in a steady, knowing groove. It's a map drawn in rhythm and blues.
