About "This Was Yours" by Oscar Farrell
Oscar Farrell's original 'This Was Yours' is a bittersweet, slow-motion house cut. A pitched-down vocal repeats the title like a mantra, over a bed of warm, hazy chords. The tension is between the intimacy of the voice and the vast, echoing space of the production. It's a heartbreak you can dance to.
