About "This Was Yours (Mixed)" by Oscar Farrell
The mixed version of Oscar Farrell's 'This Was Yours' is a DJ-Kicks tool: a hypnotic, looped vocal snippet riding a deep, undulating groove. The emotional weight of the original is smoothed into a functional, trance-inducing texture. It's a memory of a song, stretched and blurred for the dancefloor.
