About "A la Plena" by Cesar Concepcion
A vintage plena from Cesar Concepción’s Puerto Rican roots collection, this track bursts with brass and percussion. The rhythm is a joyful, street-corner celebration, but the minor-key melody hints at nostalgia’s ache. A dance that remembers what’s been lost.
