About This Song
About "Colonial Mentality" by Yerba Buena
Yerba Buena twists Fela’s anti-colonial critique into a humid, percussive carnival. Horns jab like elbows in a crowded market, while the groove’s celebratory sway masks a sharp, unyielding unease. It’s a party where the dance floor doubles as a protest line.
