About "St. Clair's Blues (From "Florence Foster Jenkins" Soundtrack)" by Alexandre Desplat
A wry, smoky miniature from Florence Foster Jenkins: 'St. Clair's Blues' sways with muted brass and a piano's lazy stride. Desplat sketches backstage melancholy—the tension between performance and loneliness, where a jaunty exterior barely conceals a bruised interior.
