About This Song
About "Satisfied Mind" by Bruce Channel
A Motown session from 1964, Channel's 'Satisfied Mind' trades his usual rockabilly swagger for a velvet-smooth croon. The title's promise of contentment is undercut by a restless bassline—a portrait of peace that feels borrowed, never owned.
