About "That's What's Happenin'" by Bruce Channel
Brass punches and a handclap groove drive this Motown stomper. Channel narrates a scene of controlled chaos, his voice a cool anchor in the swirling arrangement. The title's question becomes a dare: what's happening is the sound of a room about to boil over.
