About This Song
About "Fings Ain't Wot They Used T'be" by Max Bygraves
Max Bygraves delivers a music-hall cockney lament with a wink and a shrug, brass oom-pahing under complaints about changing times. The title's fractured grammar mirrors a world slipping its moorings—comic on the surface, but a quiet unease hums beneath the singalong, nostalgia sharpened by loss.
