About This Song
About "Imagine" by Mort Shuman
Shuman reimagines Lennon's utopia through a boozy, piano-led lens. The dream of peace feels both sincere and world-weary, like a toast raised in a crowded bar at closing time. A cover that trades wide-eyed hope for the bittersweet wisdom of experience.
