About This Song
About "L'imperméable anglais" by Mort Shuman
A jaunty, music-hall tale of a raincoat that becomes a character in itself. Shuman's wit sparkles as the English mac shields its wearer from both weather and emotional storms. Beneath the whimsy lies a meditation on the armor we choose.
