About This Song
About "A and Bee" by Carter Burwell
A playful yet melancholic waltz, 'A and Bee' spins like a music box discovered in an attic. Burwell's strings flutter with affectionate nostalgia, but a minor-key shadow hints at loss. The tension between whimsy and sorrow makes this miniature deeply affecting.
