About This Song
About "The Consolation of Fiction" by Carter Burwell
A tender theme unfolds like a story read aloud by candlelight. 'The Consolation of Fiction' offers warmth through solo piano and soft strings, yet a fragile quiver in the melody admits that comfort is temporary. Burwell finds solace and sorrow in the same breath.
