About "Piano Concerto No. 2 in A Major, S. 125 : Liszt: Piano Concerto No. 2 in A Major, S. 125: IV. Allegro deciso – V. Marziale un poco meno allegro" by Wilhelm Kempff
Liszt’s second concerto turns martial swagger into tender unease. This Allegro deciso marches like a toy soldier on a music box, then dissolves into a Marziale that feels less triumphant than haunted—Kempff finds the strange loneliness inside the brass and thunder.
