About This Song
About "Piano Concerto No. 23 in A Major, K. 488 : Mozart: Piano Concerto No. 23 in A Major, K. 488: II. Adagio" by Wilhelm Kempff
Kempff lets the Adagio breathe like a slow tide: the piano's line is a lone figure walking through a sunlit, empty house. The concerto's serenity is not static but searching, each phrase a window opened onto a deeper calm.
