About "Piano Concerto No. 2 in A Major, S. 125 : Liszt: Piano Concerto No. 2 in A Major, S. 125: VI. Allegro animato" by Wilhelm Kempff
The final Allegro animato of Lisztâs concerto is a carousel spinning faster than the riders intended. Kempffâs touch is light but feverish, catching the gleam of a waltz that might collapse into chaos. Joy here is inseparable from vertigo.
