About "Little Blackie" by Carter Burwell
'Little Blackie' is a tender, hoofbeat-pulsed theme for a steadfast pony. Burwell’s strings gallop with understated affection, threading warmth through True Grit’s harsh frontier. There’s a bittersweet calm here—loyalty rendered as a small, breathing anchor against the vast, indifferent wilderness.
