About "16 Waltzes, Op. 39 : Brahms: 16 Waltzes, Op. 39: No. 5 in E Major" by Aloys Kontarsky
The Fifth Waltz in E Major is a burst of sunlight through lace curtains: Kontarsky's playing is buoyant and warm, yet there's a wistful undercurrent, as if the joy is remembered rather than lived, caught in the amber of Brahms's nostalgic grace.
