About "Handel: Coronation Anthem No. 2, HWV 259 "Let Thy Hand Be Strengthened": I. Let Thy Hand Be Strengthened" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Handel's Coronation Anthem opens with a majestic plea for strength. The choir's homophonic declamation is ceremonial yet urgent, brass and timpani lending a regal weight. Beneath the pomp, a human vulnerability flickers—a ruler asking for courage before the crown is placed.
