About This Song
About "Requiem: VI. The Lord Is my Shepherd" by Cambridge Singers
'The Lord Is my Shepherd' finds Rutter at his most pastoral, but the Cambridge Singers avoid mere prettiness. The melody ambles like a quiet stream, yet a shadow of vulnerability lingers in the harmonic shifts—comfort that knows it is needed. It's serenity with an undercurrent of longing, a psalm for uneasy hearts.
