About "Messa da Requiem: Introduzione. Requiem" by Chor Der Bamberger Symphoniker
Donizetti's Requiem opens with a hushed, trembling 'Introduzione'—the choir suspended between grief and hope. The Bambergers deliver a reading of fragile intensity, as if the music itself is afraid to break the silence of the grave.
