About "O Come All Ye Faithful (Arr. D. Willcocks)" by Cambridge Singers
Willcocks' arrangement of this carol turns the Cambridge Singers into a candlelit procession. The opening 'O come' is a summons, but the harmonies hold a shadow—awe tinged with the chill of winter night. Faith here is not triumphant but tender, trembling on the edge of silence.
