About "Gloria, RV 589 : Vivaldi: Gloria, RV 589: IX. Qui tollis peccata mundi" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
The 'Qui tollis' slows to a hush, Vivaldi stripping away flourish to reveal a bare, pleading line. The choir's suspensions ache like a held breath, the tension between petition and acceptance stretched thin. Mercy as a quiet, trembling architecture.
