About "Gloria, RV 589 : Vivaldi: Gloria, RV 589: VII. Domine Fili unigenite" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
The 'Domine Fili unigenite' skips forward with a child's confidence, Vivaldi's syncopations tripping lightly over a steady bass. Yet the choir's bright tone carries an undertow of awe—the only-begotten Son addressed with both intimacy and distance. Lightness that knows its weight.
