About This Song
About "Suite bergamasque, CD 82 : Debussy: Suite bergamasque, CD 82: IV. Passepied" by Alexis Weissenberg
The 'Passepied' closes the suite with brisk, buoyant energy, yet Weissenberg finds shadows in its skipping rhythm. A dance on the edge of a cliff—light-footed and elegant, but charged with a nervous, quicksilver pulse.
