About This Song
About "In Control" by Alternative TV
A taut wire of post-punk anxiety, 'In Control' masks its jittery unease beneath a veneer of rigid order. Guitars slice like metronomes, while the vocals sneer at the illusion of command. It's the sound of a grip tightening on a steering wheel that's already lost the road.
