About "Mozart: Die Zauberflöte, K. 620, Act 1: "Dies Bildnis ist bezaubernd schön" (Tamino)" by Bernard Haitink
Tamino's aria blooms with awe as Haitink draws luminous strings from the orchestra. The portrait's beauty becomes an obsession, each phrase trembling between wonder and desperation. Mozart spins a reverie that hovers like a mirage—achingly pure, yet shadowed by the prince's solitary yearning.
