About This Song
About "21 Hungarian Dances, WoO 1: No. 5 in F-Sharp Major, Allegro" by Alfred Brendel
Brahms's Hungarian Dance No. 5, arranged for piano, bursts with F-sharp Major fire. Brendel leans into the syncopated swagger, the tempo a horse's gallop across a dusty plain—exuberant, slightly dangerous, and impossible to sit still through.
