About This Song
About "The System Maintains (Live at Brixton Academy, 4/18/1987)" by Conflict
A cold-eyed analysis of systemic control, set to a relentless punk assault. Live, the song's mechanical precision is terrifying, each riff a cog in the machine. The crowd's response is a collective shudder and roar, a recognition of the trap and a refusal to submit, the system maintains but so does the resistance.
