About This Song
About "Manon Lescaut / Act IV : Puccini: Manon Lescaut / Act IV: "Tutta su me ti posa"" by Anna Netrebko
Netrebko and tenor entwine in 'Tutta su me ti posa,' a duet of exhaustion and devotion. The orchestra becomes a barren plain; each phrase a step toward the edge. Tenderness and doom share the same breath.
