About "Chopin: Waltz No. 3 in A Minor, Op. 34 No. 2" by Alice Sara Ott
The A-minor waltz of Op. 34 turns like a music box wound too tight: charming, slightly feverish, faintly sad. Ott teases out its bittersweet lilt, the grace notes catching like thorns. Beneath the polish, a small turbulence — joy performing for an audience it doesn't quite trust.
