About This Song
About "Gnossiennes : Satie: Gnossiennes: No. 2, Avec étonnement (Upright Version)" by Bruce Liu
The upright version of No. 2 strips Satie's astonishment to its bones—closer, drier, more intimate. Liu's piano sounds like a confession whispered across a kitchen table. The calm is domestic; the unease is the flicker of a thought you can't quite name, repeating with each unhurried chord.
