About This Song
About "Hiding from the Night" by Smokie
Smokie slides into a moody, mid-tempo rock groove, the night becoming a velvet trap. Hiding from the night is both refuge and evasion—the song’s warm bass and smoky vocals suggest a lover’s whispered excuse. There’s a delicious unease in how comfortably the shadows embrace the narrator.
