About "Looking Daggers" by Smokie
Smokie sharpens their teeth on 'Looking Daggers'—a taut, guitar-driven sneer. The title's imagery of blades and glances cuts through pub-rock swagger, balancing coiled aggression with a wounded croon. Emotional tension spikes: calm façade, then the sudden flash of betrayal. Pure late-70s venom.
