About This Song
About "Sally's Song (The Legacy Goes On)" by Smokie
Smokie trades their glossy soft-rock polish for a wistful, pub-rock lament. Sally becomes a ghost at the jukebox, her legacy echoing through warm Hammond swells and a chorus that aches with faded glamour. The calm verses mask a restless unease—nostalgia as both comfort and cage.
