About This Song
About "Closer to the Candle" by Alan Silson
Alan Silson trades pub-rock warmth for candlelit introspection, a flicker of acoustic intimacy against Smokie's arena-sized nostalgia. The flame becomes a muse: closeness as both comfort and risk, each verse inching toward a burn. It's the quiet ache inside a greatest-hits glow, a slow dance with shadows.
