About This Song
About "Set Me Free (feat. Nile Rodgers & The Americanos)" by Herizen Guardiola As Mylene Cruz
Disco strings shimmer like heat off a Bronx fire escape as Nile Rodgers' chic guitar threads through a gospel-tinged vocal. The tension between Sunday-morning salvation and Saturday-night release crackles—a plea for deliverance that sounds like ecstatic surrender, not escape.
