About "This Ain't No Fairy Tale" by Justice Smith As Ezekiel Figuero
Justice Smith's Ezekiel spits defiance over a skeletal beat, the title a blunt refusal of happy endings. This isn't a fairy tale—it's a Bronx coming-of-age stripped of illusion, where every rhyme is a brick in a wall of self-invention. The grit is the point; the dream is the risk.
