About This Song
About "Vivaldi: Magnificat in G Minor, RV 610: IV. Fecit potentiam" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
'Fecit potentiam'—He has shown strength. The music flexes accordingly: stern, declamatory, a sword drawn in harmony. Yet the King's College choir softens the blow with rounded vowels, turning might into something almost tender. Power and grace in uneasy alliance.
