About This Song
About "Vivaldi: Gloria in D Major, RV 589: IX. Qui tollis peccata mundi" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
A solemn plea rises from King's College's choral ranks, the 'Qui tollis' suspended between Baroque devotion and human trembling. Vivaldi's counterpoint glows like candlelight on stone, yet beneath the serenity lies a quiet ache—the weight of sin carried in each suspended suspension, a prayer that never quite resolves.
