About "Hymn to the Creator of Light" by Cambridge Singers
Rutter's 'Hymn to the Creator of Light' builds from hushed reverence to blazing affirmation. The Cambridge Singers trace a luminous arc, their voices like candle flames in a dark nave. The tension between mortal frailty and divine radiance gives the piece its quiet power.
