About "2 Unaccompanied Part-Songs, RT IV/5: No. 1, To Be Sung of a Summer Night on the Water I" by Cambridge Singers
Delius's 'To Be Sung of a Summer Night on the Water' drifts in unaccompanied stillness. The Cambridge Singers render the part-song as a watercolor: languid, impressionistic, haunted by twilight. Calm surface, but the harmonic ripples suggest something unspoken beneath.
