About "Sweet Georgia Brown" by Charlie Parker
Parker's take on 'Sweet Georgia Brown' is no nostalgic reverie. He dismantles the standard with a surgeon's precision, rebuilding it into something angular and new. The familiar melody flickers like a ghost, while the improvisation crackles with a restless, modern anxiety.
