About "Billie's Bounce 3" by Charlie Parker
The third 'Billie's Bounce' finds Parker and company stretching the bebop framework to its breaking point. Notes tumble like dice from a shaking hand, each chorus a new gamble. The tension between structure and freedom crackles, a fleeting document of genius in motion.
