About "Kokiriko Melody" by Joji Hirota
Hirota's 'Kokiriko Melody' spins traditional Japanese percussion into a trance-like whirl. Wooden clappers and flute trace a circular path, evoking a festival that never ends—joyous on the surface, yet shadowed by the relentless, mechanical repetition of time.
