About "Dionysus" by Jocelyn Pook
Jocelyn Pook conjures a haunted ballroom where strings tremble like candlelight. Dionysus is a study in controlled ecstasy, the calm of a chamber ensemble masking a wild, ancient hunger. It's a dance on the edge of abandon, elegant and unsettling.
