About This Song
About "Desperate Measures" by Smokie
A taut, minor-key rocker with a nervous edge. Smokie trades their usual warmth for clipped guitars and a driving beat, capturing the sweaty-palmed urgency of a cornered heart. It's the sound of a bad decision being made in real time.
