About "Ain't It Funny How It Works" by Smokie
A wry, mid-tempo shrug wrapped in warm organ and clean guitar. Smokie observes life's little ironies with a knowing smile, the melody bouncing between acceptance and mild exasperation. It's soft rock with a philosopher's raised eyebrow.
