About This Song
About "Whiskey in the Jar" by Smokie
Smokie trades their soft-rock polish for a pub-floor stomp, all jangling guitars and boozy swagger. The tale of a betrayed highwayman simmers with restless energy, a pint-glass clatter of loyalty and deceit. It's a raucous, folk-rock strut that never loses its grin.
